For the configuration of the new OR at the General State Hospital of Nikaia, the following tasks have been carried out:

• Measure taking in order to prevent the transmission and spread of dust and bacteria due to building and electromechanical works
• Dismantling and removal of all unnecessary materials
• Construction of new plasterboard walls
• Installation of special antimicrobial linings suitable for hospital premises
• Construction of suspended ceiling made from plasterboard suitable for operation rooms
• Installation of antistatic PVC floor and conductivity check for the floor of the operation room
• Placement of new wooden doors and installation of a new modern automatic mechanism for the operation room door
• Installation of new scrub up sinks in the entry of the operating room made of a Corian-type homogenous material
• Installation of auxiliary cabinets
• Installation of an updated heating, air-conditioning and ventilation unit
• Installation of new medical gas networks
• Execution of electromechanical work
